2006 Chevrolet 3500 4X4, 6.6 Duramax.

Issue- Brake pedal goes to the floor no brakes.  Severely rusted brake lines and incorrect previous repairs.

First order of business, remove the body and evaluate the damage.

Obvious severe rusting, evidence of previous repairs. Notice the compression union for a coupler very incorrect and UN-SAFE.

Multiple points of failure and potential issues, including fuel supply and return. Both systems require replacement.

Before and After at the ABS Control Unit. All lines replaced are continuous with no unions to each wheel. 100 feet of rolled brake line was used.

Fuel lines were replaced from fuel cell to engine connection. Hose is durable fiber braided intended for diesel fuel. Push-Loc fitting at tank were replaced due to rust.

Final product. Approx 20 hours of labor. New fuel lines and brake lines throughout the chassis.
